Skinable animals

Are there plans on making the animals skinable if you kill them to get meat and pelt?

For a druid and ranger, I think it would be important. They wouldn't just kill an animal and leave it to rot.

It may be tied into crafting though. I know all the servers I've played on you can tan the hides to make armor and use the meat for cooking to get rations which are needed for resting.

Yes indeed and very soon, maybe the next update if I manage to finish my taxes this weekend.  You can already take skins from certain animals, standard Bioware function, but the crafting system will extend that greatly.
