ok so is a half drow half elf/drow or drow/human

I'm assuming these races are documented in 3ed rules so I can match their racial attributes.

heh pixie is pretty funny, but now i seem to be female, plus theres some other bugs as well.  a potion of restoration will remove the -(stat) but leave the +(stat)  also, i assume the stat changes are in addition to the regular racial stats?

The stat changes are in accordance with the racial modifier as described in the 3ed manual, so drow have a - to str and cha compared to a normal elf.  I'll see what I can do about the potion.  I hadn't thought of that.

well by the sound of it its a personal custom script... that may be why its alittle buggy. i can look up a racial script and send it if need be.

Actually its subraces for dummies, because I'm a dummy.  I had heard that this was a very good subrace script.  Send me anything you think is good and we'll try it out.

actually is there a way to remove a subrace once it is applied?  also, does the modified abilities count towards, say feat progression.  ie, if kender gives +2 to dex, my dex has to be 27 with the modification for epic dodge, which has a pre req of 25 dex?

It can be removed but whatever I end up having in the game, it will not allow you to remove it once you have chosen a subrace so people will have to be certain before choosing.

As for the bonus applying to your feat requirements I haven't tested it since I haven't decided what to go with yet.  The script that is currently running acts as a modifier to your base stats, just like bracers of dexterity, and so your +2 to dex should show up green.  Feat requirements are based on your unmodified ability which excludes the bonus your received by the subrace system so need a 27 to get epic dodge.  

I'm still looking at possible solutions for the subraces but I believe this is going to be a common issue regardless of what ends up in the game.  I haven't found a way to make it modify your base ability nor have I found an existing subrace script that works around the problem, which leads me to believe this is something we will just have to deal with.  I'll post more on it when I know for sure but this is one of the reasons we haven't settled on a subrace system yet.  

If anyone knows a system that doesn't have these issues please let me know.
