I'd like to get feedback from everyone regarding the new racial based starting locations and the difficulties in getting started as a new player.  I've provided an NPC that can provide general information for new players at each start location.

I'd like to know the following.

1.  How helpfull is this in getting started?
2.  What other information can we provide to a new player that would help at the
      start.
3.  Should more low level areas be added near each starting location

Currently there is a 10 second delay between the loading of the start location and the jump to your starting point.  There is no way around the two step process and the 10 seconds is to provide enough time for the start area to load before making the racial jump.  I assumed 10 seconds would be long enough for a dial up connection but my cable modem barely loaded in that amount of time so please let me know if you have issues with this.  If you do have issues you will most likely end up stuck in the OOC area, my appologies.

I think it has alot to do with the client as well ... when I coded it 2 seconds was all I needed for my computer ... but yours took 10 ... Let us know how it is going for the rest of you ...

Thanks ...
