I was considering scripting in the ability to have armor sets, ala Dungeon Siege.  Having a complete set of armor would increase the overall benefits to the user.

What do you think?

Love this idea!
The best part is, you can always add more sets as the world grows, too. When you find time after things are up and running, whole quests can be built around finding the parts of a set.
I would suggest that sets be Class, Race, or Alignment specific to add even more variety. All this is something that you can to as C A grows.
