Character names

This is a matter that really pisses me off sometimes. I think there should be some kind of general rules about what kind of name you are allowed to make for you character. I don't mean strict and unforgiving hardcore RP-rules, I just don't want to see stupid character names like:
[[++SUPER-KILLER++]]
 or
 ~~Mongus^^ Multiblaster 2000 the Ultimate Mage~~

(those two were just examples I made up)


I'm suggesting the following rules:

- no special characters in the name (except - or ' if you want to make an accent)
- no CAPS LOCK
- the name must basically have a first name and surname, or just a first name, but nothing else (no titles or any other extra words)

Making up a decent name isn't hard. If someone wants to name his character as Richard Gere, that's ok by me, doesn't bother me at all. But :::RiChArD:::GeRe::: would make my blood boil.
